Just messing around, getting triple doubles

Number-Ology

The beautiful truths below don’t change the fact that OKC is down 1-2. It’s easy to point the accusatory finger at Russell, but the blown lead in game three was a team effort.

Westbrook is an easy target, but you have to give Tony Allen some credit for smothering Durant down the stretch. He was in full denial mode making it tough for Durant to even get a touch. His other options on the court were Sefolosha, Ibaka and Perkins. Some of the blame has to go on the coach for that bogus personnel he had on the court. James Harden can handle Tony Allen just fine. You don’t need your “defensive stopper” on the court to contain Tony Allen. Westbrook had a sloppy game with the TOs, but their offense down the stretch in general is awful. OKC only has a few guys that can knock down shots…this isn’t a championship team yet.

Agreed. They either need Harden to develop into a more consistent offensive threat, or they need to aquire someone else who does consistently hit shots … They should also get New Orleans on the phone and see if there is interest in a Westbrook for CP trade. NO has to at least listen to the pitch. Westbrook could be Derrick Rose on a team like the Hornets.
